meade916 Posted January 2, 2007 Report Share Posted January 2, 2007 the big hole is the port it is only inch and a half but that is what it was tuned with 1.5x24.5 is the size of the outside port series tuned 6th that is what i was told by pete from team toxic bass he should know he built a few it usely is a square but it made it easy to change the cone with a circle i run different configerations sometimes(change from 1ohm to 2ohm) check them out http://www.teamtoxicbass.com/ nice job man!!! thats not a 6th order though its more like a series tuned 4th order. a 6th order box is one that is a bandpass but is ported at the front and rear. i stand corrected but i have a good excuse......when i used to build bandpass boxes this was a 6th order BP. http://www.diysubwoofers.org/images/site/6thordbp.gif when i think series tuned i think port from chamber to chamber but a 4th order usually isnt ported "to the outside world" anyway i stand corrected because you do have a 6th order series tuned bp.....my bad, i aint perfect ya know!
