You should try to wire them in sets of threes and bring them down to one ohm. An then put them to some T4000's or Stetsoms. An if that still doesn't work you can use different woofers with better amps. I have seen many setups of those W15GTI's taking triple rms, with no problems. Anyways sick build tho.

Moti Posted October 15, 2008 Report Posted October 15, 2008 Pretty sure JBL uses 3 inch VC's on the GTI's. An hopefully they can make some revisions on the GTI series this year. Possibly a more accurate rated RMS and less gayer coil configs.
trulywickedcustoms Posted October 16, 2008 Author Report Posted October 16, 2008 yeh it's sounds like your truck is going to take a beating for sure. post up some pics of the new equipment once you get it manthanks alot for all the comments guys .... and yeah im still fiberglassing the inside 45's but ill get some pics of those and my pbx 3xl components will be in fri... post pics ... and all my 0g and shit will be in 2maro... ill def be posting pics sonn... i staind the amp rack and made a few small buss bars for the rear batteries... its knda slow but once my shit starts comming in... its game over ill be doing work!and the burb can handle the beating.... esp with 3 layers of dynamat roof and doors! and as iv said i dnt rly kno what these subs will do b/c evry time iv had them i nvr had a decent power supply ... and now with over 1,000 amps and a 15.7v mla ill be good.... so the amps will be putting out clean sig.( no clipping) and wont be shutting dwn b/c of voltage..... and to top it off iv got alot better box this time ...
