whats the abss remote have to do with setting it up right?

is it a knob with 1 center frequency or a variable frequency and boost

it's only a knob for the bass boost. it's been raining on and off all day so i haven't had time to go out and play around although last night i up'd the xover from 45 hz to just about 80 .......... the gain a lil over a 1/4 of the ways up. so it still doesn't slump how i'd like it but i also get some good voltage drop too (low 12s). what gets me is my 2nd battery in the back sits around 14.3/4 and the amp voltage display on the amp shows 14. maybe i should make my run of 1/0 from the 2nd battery to the amp shorter along with adding a ground from the rear battery to the frame. i'd still prefer a class d amp though.
