Decaf Posted September 10, 2008 Author Report Share Posted September 10, 2008 amp comes tomorrow... kinda syk'd... altho i cant hook it up to anything box is empty too... sold my sub to my friend wish i had something to go in the box temp might just shove a 15L7D4 in it and burp on @ 2ohms on 1300w... or get one of usampfreaks 15" kove armagedon protos and wire it to 4 ohms for sq.... Decaf Posted September 11, 2008 Author Report Share Posted September 11, 2008 got my amp its only 2.5" longer than my re 12.1 its a sexy little thing... came in a big box too and i like the level control since its got a clipping indicator... i might actually use a knob after finding one that makes sense.... and the amp only has a 0-6db bass boost so goes to show ya u shouldnt need a bass boost knob... but level/gain is straight Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Decaf Posted September 28, 2008 Author Report Share Posted September 28, 2008 progress: Thanks to my friend with the '01 eclipse (eclipsantor) i got the 1/0 to the back without fuses since i dont know exactly when i'll be installing the amp(s) Tuesday we are getting the wood cut for both of our boxes His is for 1 15" FiQ w/bp in 3.5cuft@30hz on rf1000bd.... old box was 3cuft@33hz did 147.6@46hz... im thinking new tl score will be ~145@44-43hz since his car peaks kinda high Im going from 1 15" in 3.6cuft@32hz to 2 12s in 4cuft@30hz... hopeing for 146ish since i was at 144+ with the 1 15 on 1200w dowels & resin resin + mat ran 1/0 knukonceptz wire, w/o fuses yet tho fleks near front bat going thru firewall, next to strut tower coming out of firewall by driver left foot next to drivers seat thru frame support next to rear passenger up to trunk extra leftover fleks in trunk so i can mount the amp anywhere more to come Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
