dunkoholic
Are both your seperate boxs the same? Just push them together and make it look like one then hide all your wires and mount the amp... Those boxs look about the right size just donno what they tuned to... i want to push them back towards the rear seat, but it wont fit that way.. and yes they are two of the same pre made boxes for the L7s.. dunkoholic
Decided to flip the speakers around cause it sounded louder and got more flex out of it.. yeah, don't laugh at my box.... and i decided to put a port through the rear deck as well... I decided with a 4x4 port on each side... it got louder compare to the sealed box.. I was experimenting and made the port a little more bigger!! and it got a lot louder.. Still not as loud as the two separate pre made box but close... I'm still playing around with the design inside the box so who knows, it still might get louder... pstone11
I think you're doing a great job man.. Especially for a noober. I've built boxes like that ported through the rear deck and it looks like you have it working good. The box looks a little small, try adding a little airspace to it and see if that improves your sound a bit. Check out StoneSounds to see my recent builds.Or look at the Flying White Facebook Page! What do you mean by adding a little airspace? you got a sketch for me? my mind only works with pix.. lol Make the box a little bigger anyway you can... maybe widen it up a little.... If you can get the volume or dimensions of the current box, myself and many others on here will be more than happy to give you a bit more direction on your ports and total box volume. dunkoholic
Man, i really don't want to build another box... What if I get a different kind of subwoofers that will work good with my box dimensions now... 30x21x14. Damn, i wish should of never bought the L7's as it requires a big box.. It's for sale if anyone wants it...
