banginAltima
Is it possible that people are fighting against the vehicles freq. with the box tuning? What I mean is my car for example, I peak at 41 hz, my tuning is in the 30's and I get the best number to date. I have tried tuning my box up and had less then favorable results. I ending up hitting the same TL numbers from 42 hz to 50Hz with the sub hating me playing the higher freqs. Now when I say the same numbers I mean something like a high 145 from 42 to 50Hz, no where near as good as when I play 41Hz tuned low. Edited for spelling. If you build it, db's will come... BigPimpin91
IDK. My Peak is at 64hz and my tuning is 33hz. The box and Truck peaks roll into each other and I have a pretty flat response. From 29-65hz. BigPimpin91's Banging Music
Charger
Yep. everything will work happier around your car's resonant frequency hence why it's the car's most efficient tone. If your box suits the car's response then it will be ultra happy at around that frequency.
