It was pretty hard fighting that rust, I finally had to compromise and get the rust best I could then just had to go ahead and paint it. I did learn that I'm not the best at painting and at a later date I would like to put new rubber flooring back in it. Work boots and mud dirt and water are really hard on that floor and I feel it will hold up better if I can get flooring back in it. I was counting on bright sunshine to do a little extra bake on the truck bed liner so it was cured real well before I sat foot in the truck. Its dark and cloudy and it sounds like the rain is comming in hours before it was supposed too so I'm going to have to tarp the truck over since I have all my seals pulled off for painting and the rain will get in. It looks like my grill deal might not go through either and I have to know about them before I can cut holes in my box. It looks like I'm on hold. I was not looking forward to this but you have to do the best you can do with all variables involved. Back to patience. My 3rd Solo should be here tonight and I'm keeping my L7s just incase I am not satisfied with the Solo-Classics. It will be a simple cut round hole square and drop in if I need too. As long as the are no grocery store runs, pharmacy runs, or bullshit gets in my way they should be at 50% to 100% done today. I have a dead line on this truck that I just can't miss. Naw no updates and at the moment I don't even know if I will be doing the install but I do have everything I need (x2) product wise so I'm good there but the rest of it is personal.
