And you don't really want to learn on top of the line stuff anyway if you like to turn knobs and dials like I do. My first set of subs didn't last long at all lol once someone told me just enough about bridging and ohming down to hurt myself. Edit- as far a capacitors I was told 1 farad per 1000 watts. I just had an audio battery installed instead in my trunk. They are small. I think it cost me $200 and was rated at 100 farads I think. Guest Posted September 5, 2008 Report Share Posted September 5, 2008 (edited) thats not worth $750, let alone $300...dont get it, you wont be pleased with the results. lol i like how its a "2600w" bass package but it only includes a 1000w amp kit and dont get a capacitor, its just a waste of money imo. when you start getting voltage drops less than 12v, do the Big 3 and get a deep cycle battery for the trunk.
