T8004 Power For Highs

thanks roscoe...well anyways...what componets 6.5 or 5.25 would be good for my t8004(that can handle the amp)also thinkin bout some new 6x9 too... Any help possible will help. i was thinkin some fanatic q's i found online but i just want some brands thrown out there

and now for my lil bit of info. the power 800.4 will push any comonant set you want to including 3 ways like the eclipse so I say look for something in your price range and make sure they can handle real power. On some by nines for the rear... unless you can find a good set of 6x9 componants I would get another set of regular componants and fab them up in there instead.

thanks man,i really dont have a price limit i just want nthe best bang for my buck ya kno??? i been thinkin bout it. i had some diamond hex6.5's component and i blew the tweeter on them wit my old jl 300/4 so now im scared to hook anything up to this monster...but do u kno where they have the plates to put 6.5 in a 6x9 hole???

sometimes partsexpress.com has them I always make my own tho. Real easy remove the x9's trace the outline onto a piece of 1/4" hardboard/mdf and then you can cut your 6.5 opening in the board. Just make sure your 6.5's basket will clear the x9 hole tho. Usually will, but there are some odd ones out there that have large baskets. I would reccomend for speakers the fosgate power series componants. They kick ass and sound great while doing it!

thanks man.... well i gotta ship my diamonds back for my kick pannels...but im doing a pillars too im just gonna do the fosgates ...thanks for ur two cents i never thought u'd be writin in any of my topics thanks for ur info....one more thing do u kno where some good builds for a pillars are on here???
