  1. How safe is running 700WRMS to an SA-8 in a 0.6cube box?
  2. http://www.ddaudio.com/dd/caraudio/enclosu...closureInfo.asp
  3. Yeah, should note that i am looking at 6-1/2 or bigger
  4. Any dealers in the states?? If not, close friend of my is an Australian dealer
  5. What would be excellent speakers in terms for definition in mid-range. i.e. voice clarity and depth. Currently have 4x Hertz HCX 5-1/4"s for highs and mid range. Just need something with better response at lower frequency's. 75RMS+ power handling too Stick with Hertz?
  6. Bigger tires is just gonna put more work on the engine, plus the speedo issue. I personally think installing gears is a big waste of money in terms getting efficiency. I've done gears to run bigger tyres and that's about it. For a daily driver just stay with factory gears. What size tyres are you running anyway? 32inch...?
  7. Nah, i busted him, coz i was sitting bout 20meters away. Was down at the beach with some chick. Lucky he had a head start, otherwise it would've been very unfortunate for him.
  8. It was just some low life fuker trying to take anything that is shiny and silver... Lucky i busted him half way in the act, otherwise ma P300 would've disappeared too. And so much for glove box locks, good for a small baby thief and that's it. And nah, i didn't knick someone elses deck. I got some good morals. Just pisses me off that i have to flip about 2000 patties down at McShits to buy a new faceplate I'm gonna bolt a steel box to the floor and keep all ma ipod and shit in there now. It's the best idea i think Oh yeah, it was a sonicelectronix H/U too, and ma local shop is a bloody con. Ahh well, life goes on aye. Steve'd know how it feels havin things knicked BIG TIME!
  9. I second the bronco. Built tough and still got some poke in her, then again... I've never seen any of the other trucks in real life But i've always wanned a Bronco as a project vehicle
  10. How's this for a load of crap. Ma car was broken into this week and all the asshole took was my faceplate from ma glove box, but insurance won't cover it as 'It was not physically attached to the car at the time of the theft' So now i've got a nice black box in ma dash and no music! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Anyone know where to get cheap faceplates from? Alpine 9886?
  11. You can do anything you want big man!!!!!! .. But Can be a waste of money. A home sub is most likely active. (it has an amplifier built into it) Truth is that they are more efficient than a car sub (passive), as for a car sub and amp you get power from a low voltage battery, which means that as the power travels through wires, some of it is lost unfortunately. but we don't have a power point in our car to plug the sub woofer into So just wait till you're old enough to get a set of wheels i'd say. By all means go out and buy some gear but! My tip... Get a sub and make a swish box for it. That's where all the talent is at! Anyone can connect wires You can probs test it out at ya local car audio store, then when you got a car... you got a sub! Add an amp and some wires, whammy! I know when i was young i spent money on crap that just doesn't work... (i.e. trying to power a car amp off a phone charger in my room ) So read up, save your pennys and get into it! PM if you got any questions mate
