The reason is that it'll help with my impedence rise. Since I'll have two amps and one sub per amp the rise won't be as great as it would on one amp. Right now I sit at 1.2 ohms nominal and when I figure box rise into play it is 3.8 or a little more. At that I'm only getting 1900 watts out of my amp and a Sundown wouldn't be any better with all that impedence rise. But if I split that up into two amps it would be better. I have dual 1's which I would wire to each 1500 at .5 ohms and with rise each amp would be almost two ohms if it carries the same trend as it did with just one amp. So I should see between 1500 to 1900 watts per amp depending on my voltage staying high. That's a total of 3000-3800 watts for the subs instead of 1900 to the pair. I would be seeing almost 550-950 more watts per sub. That should help out some and get me a bit louder without cutting down the port lenght any. Also the upgraded Nightshades that I have need more power to get them moving the way the stock ones I had did. I don't see any reason why I can't do high 149's to low 150's with two 1500's. Sorry about the long explaination Nick, but I figured I'd let you know why I couldn't use a 3000D. I still need to get back on my car tho I did get quite a bit of inch heatshrink today so I can run my power wire again and hopefuly before winter I can find a place to put alot of the stuff in the garage so I can get busy I miss having something stupid loud

I would buy them but I don't have enough electrical (its stock atm) and the availiblity of batteries.. well more like the cost of batteries here is a pain.
