Guest
12000wrms on 2 5000wrms subs...that means that they were only overpowered by ~1kw, DAMN thats nasty damage.
AI James
from my understan ging the coils are exactly the same the only real difference is the cone on them doesnt snap like those older ones. so imo no they dont take any better abuse

sactownstang
I doubt his batterys are strong enough to get that much power, it's abuse yes but it is soloX competiton sub. My TRF took way more abuse! Heck DC level 4's x 2 on 2 t4000.1 x2 burpin and slumpin at competion and no problem. I had heard newer models can take more "abuse" heard is the key word! TeamSSC Ron
That was a bad idea to begin with, experimenting (2) SAZ3000's on a single solo X 12" It was fine using only (1) saz3000 to (1) solo X 12"s . . . but just for the hell of it, I tried using (2) amps. instead and see if it will hold up. . . . I guess not ! OOhhhh well, it's time to get the new one's . . . Quote TEAM S.S.C. Team Serious SPL Centurions
