Just monitor the voltage when you are playing the system, don't run it below 12.8 for extended periods.

Our module gets you better voltage and adds anticipation as well , but as with most things electrical there are limits. If your alt can not keep up our module does not over ride the alts internal protection. It will help out alot by doing shorter burps. Adding a battery for the extra storage is always a plus. A second yellowtop would be fine if your trying to save on the cash.

So when I add my batts in the back do I run + and - then ground the amps to the rear batteries or just run + and ground the rear batts and amps to the frame?

either will work.
