a_plus Posted September 21, 2008 Report Share Posted September 21, 2008 well i bought some re sx 15 about a month ago.. i got em on a rf t2k, sounded really good but now one subs voice coil is rubing... i got the amp 3/4 up and i dont even have my alt in yet... i think maybe i may need to try some different subs ... wat do u guys think??? any suggestions?? Your gonna get the usuals of course. what are looking at price wise? a_plus Posted September 21, 2008 Author Report Share Posted September 21, 2008 price really aint a prob i just want some i can put in and leave in i hate changing out so much... i had jl w315 for like 3 yrs no prob, but they dont make no 15's no more so... but my box is only 12 inches tall and the subs face up?? so any 15's that will fit .. In my experience 2k on 2 sx's shouldnt have caused coil damage bro.... unless your clipping the hell out of it... upgrade your electrical man, alt, battery, big3 then move on to your sub stage. David Posted September 21, 2008 Report Share Posted September 21, 2008 I think that there is another issue somewhere, when I built BLK SIN, we used 2 RE SX 12's on a RF T3000.1BD and have had not one issue. they slam, they get nice and low and sound GREAT. Man Im sorry I cant really help you on this but im not gonna just throw a brand out there because it works/ed for me. Im a different breed I tore up 3 XXX re 18's testing them ya know and I kept 4 of them running for almost a year straight b4 tearing the build down so.....
