Okay I was reading up on my exhaust system and came across this:

http://dodgedynasty.50megs.com/mods/exhaust.html

It states that if I get rid of or get a high-flow cat it could give the 02 sensor diff. readings.

(My 02 sensor goes before the cat) If I was to 'test' it without a cat and gives no engine codes would that mean I am good to go with a hi-flow/cat-less exhaust system?

1992 Dodge Dynasty 3.0 SOHC. My mods consist of after-cat Flowmaster exhaust, short-ram intake, 8mm plug wires, NGK Iridium Plugs.

cut it off, it will be fine especially if its before the cat...that cat isnt gonna push exhaust back up to the sensor....and with no cat, youll get increased mileage

I like mileage! :D But then again I'm looking more towards performance.

So if I go cat-less and do a 2 1/2" exhaust all the way through, I should be fine?

youre doing engine mods to a 92 dynasty?

my best friend has a 93, and that thing is dieing, it would honestly put the money towards a new car/repairs rather than mods

its not like that car is going to run any less than a 17 second 1/4 mile or anything, i cant see how its worth it

Build: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...hl=avalon+build

monster/rockford/kicker/stinger cables, pioneer source, jbl highs/amps, kinetik/shuriken batts, iraggi alt, dei security, dc subs(atleast for now)

Do you have a problem with that? Mine is not dieing at all. My engine was completely rebuilt around 10-15k ago. Better than your moms minivan. :)

(Dynastys not my daily)
