EricM9104
Soo... got an amp kit today at Wal-mart, wired the sub/amp in my sig up in my mom's truck, all was fine... Till I went to wire up my DMM (to check voltages), didn't pull the fuse up front and bam... As I was loosening the positive connection, my screwdriver touched the amp chassis and a little spark flew... Fuse didn't blow either.. WTF. WTF. that doesn't guarantee that your amp is fried. have you tried running it to see if it works? on my goliath xxv, i put the pos wire first then the neg. when i put in the neg, it sparked. so i pulled it off, noticed that my pos wire is too deep in the terminal and it might have touched the case itself. i fixed it and all is still running fine now. Sampsonite
lol. Some amps have a TERRIBLE design and you almose HAVE to touch the case with a screw driver. Doesn't mean its blown.. In fact, thats not even really bad for the amp, just the electrical, and even then, its very minor Quote --Sampson 816-591-6592 www.kcrimshop.com
