If thats true would that make up for the RMS diff? With my dimensions I could get more cubes per woofer. I think up to 4 1/2 cubes per. If I went with a say American Bass or US Amps would I have a better chance. Keep in mind that they will be in a mini-wall. (If it matters) Edit: Never-mind the tuning. He says he meters at 150.xx TL at the dash. Not sure If I totally believe it. RamenNoodles Posted September 30, 2008 Report Share Posted September 30, 2008 if you are going to dump a bunch of power on them, you will want to make the box on the smaller side of the recommendations. If you make the box on the big side and dump too much power on it, you will have mechanical failure and the subs will begin to bottom out. By making the box smaller, it will act as somewhat of a sealed enclosure but still have the port to let pressure out.
