Are you kidding me. idgaf what you're running, 150's+ isn't something that automatically happens. I have seen many people running 4 15's and only doing high 140's maybe touching a 150. To be doing a 53 with 4 15's not walled off less than 6kw is one hell of an accomplishment. Especially if it isn't a burp box. If it weren't musical I could see it being alot easier to pull off, but with a 31Hz tuning I haven't seen many people put up those numbers with that much power to 4 15's. Im not saying his scores are legit nor am I saying they arent. What I am saying is its pretty sheeplike and lame for the whole lot of ppl in this thread basically saying he is a liar and they are making their own assumptions/conclusions against their own installs or shit installs. Its not like he came in screaming he did a 180 or some other insane nmber. In essence he has a really big "crx" box a fairly decent subs in a tiny cabin so a 150+ is very doable under those circumstances. And to top it off he never said what mic the score was on.. I know people that do mid-high 50s with a pair of 10s/12s. Everyone doesnt have to burp at a high frequency to do a 150+ not all cars peak high...My 96 does best @38hz and my 80 gets off at 35. I can do 150+ at just about any frequency above 30hz with 2 subs and 2 amps nw legal on the dash. 01xtreme Posted October 3, 2008 Report Posted October 3, 2008 Install is everything, I agree with you pitbull, but im just saying with so little power and without a wall those are very high numbers, not saying I don't believe him, that's not what I was trying to say. I was giving him props for doing the number. The people who are doing high 150's off a pair of 10's or 12's are probably using a little ass car, like a CRX. now those are fairly easy to do 150+'s in. The xb's are quite a bit larger than a crx, hell it is bigger inside than my blazer is. 153 in something like that is not a walk in the park, but it is completely do-able.
