I have two 12" Pioneer Premier Champion Series Pro subwoofers. 3000w max, 1000w rms each. I want an amp that has plenty of power, thinking towards rockford fosgate or memphis. But can you run a mono amp with 2 subs? Thanks

mono amps works wonderful with subs.

The sub is dual 4 ohm. How do you hook up two subs with one mono amp? i don't see how its possible with just one set of pos neg speaker input.

Thanks for the responses

you're gonna have to run it down to 1 ohm... not real sure on them, sundown has some good stuff, the rockford amps are one ohm stable

this is how you'd wire..

One Sundown 3000 would be awesome, it would be the easiest on the electrical. Memphis amps are power hungry and burn up if you drop volts, esp. the mojo. RF are a little less power hungry but normally will just go into protect if you drop volts.

If you build it, db's will come...

x2 on the sundown. and there was a thread on here a couple days ago of people burning up memphis amps due to the volt drops

fosgate t20001!!!!

The only thing about getting a RF T2000 is that you would have to set the gain up to 3/4 or more the get the 2000 watts depending on how strong of an amp it was. The higher you set the gains the more the demand on the eletrical....
