BassJunkie Posted January 10, 2007 Report Share Posted January 10, 2007 Well I just turned 16 in July... got my first car (a truck lol) I wanted a dodge ramcharger for as long as I can remember... now that I got one... I really want to kick myself in the ass for getting it... so I made the best of what I had and what little money I had because of it getting 12 mpg (hard on the wallet so no bills to just drop on a real system)... I drove it for 4 months and broke an A arm on it.. just fixed it and we're now selling it. This is a video of my $30 system I picked up off a buddy subs amp and all... now dont rag on me because its a hunk of shit because I already know this but I needed a little bass and for the money I couldn't pass it up They shit ass system video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eki76lm_YfQ So after a month without having a car.. I got this off my uncle http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2539249 It has some front end damage but the car has low miles and was well maintained (except of course for the crash lol) I called a few junkyards and found a front clip for $450... so as soon as my truck is sold I'm buying the front clip, and my buddies dad does body work so he's going to paint it for me (I think someone is interested and wants to buy it... so hopefully by next week) So now I have a pretty nice car for a 16 year old (well at least I think its nice lol) I am also in the process of selling my 04 Honda Rancher.. I'm using the money out of that for a system in the car... I'll have about $1000 to drop on it ( need amp woofer(s) and wiring) Now here is where the problem occurs.. I'm very confused on what to get.... I need some input from anyone to help me get the best bang for the buck any size BTL's JL Audio 13w7 Rockford Fosgate Stage 2 RE audio sub MTX 9500 And I'll buy the amp according to sub power rating and ohm load Or any other woofers you guys would recommend..
