Clocksta Posted October 10, 2008 Report Share Posted October 10, 2008 Well, i got an 03 Oldsmobile Alero and well, i dont know where/how to find out the amp of my stock alternator but my guess is roughly around 100 or so? if so..What are my capabilities with it? i'm working on saving for my set up which will be between 2k-3k RMS, possible? tudski Posted October 11, 2008 Report Share Posted October 11, 2008 i used to have a 99 alero sam engine 4cyl and i had around 1000rms and it was aright like not dimmin or anything... awsome car tho my sister has it now and it still has that system goin strong... but i dont know about 3000rms might have to keep the rpms up and maybe big 3 and extra bat? I have a HO alt and big three and 1/0 cable with under 2000 watts and it is very noticeable with it cranked at 45mph. my voltage drops alot.
