SJClark09 Posted October 21, 2008 Report Share Posted October 21, 2008 got a question for you bangin explorer can you shave the door handles with only fiberglass or u need a piece of metal to put it right thereyou know its truely amazing what you can learn from google...bangin was right, there are sites that sell "Filler Plates" which basically are peices of sheet metal that cover the area where your door handle and keyhole would be. Now I have no clue what kind of car you drive or what year, so I can't help you with where to look but there is the great thing called GOOGLE Who ever said nothing is impossible never tried to slam a revolving door. bangin_explorer Posted October 21, 2008 Author Report Share Posted October 21, 2008 well, back to round 2 on the driver side quarter panel "gas cap area". i didnt really like how it came out after i took the tape and newspaper off today... so....... i just got it back down to bare metal tonight so i'll just be redoing the WHOLE panel so it dont look awkward. i mean dont get me wrong it was "ok" but it was not the outcome i was looking for. its starting to get too cold tonight so i think im done till 2marrow. hopefully weather permitting i will be doing work 2marrow. :censored: .......................................................
