I would go to the members build section and look at some of the builds. Pick one you like. You'll get tons of ideas and a little of what it takes to get it done.

1.) What do the kickers do and how much do they cost?

Kicker is a brand of Sub woofer. A sub woofer is a large speaker that is designed to produce very low notes (bass).

They work by using 2 magnets, one permanent magnet and one electromagnet. When the amplifier sends the sub woofer the signal, the electromagnet repels and attracts the permanent magnet which moves the cone and produces sound.

Prices vary on size and power handling (how loud they can potentially get)

Depending what you want I would say anywhere from $200 to $1000 depending on how loud you want it to be and how much work you are willing to do.

2.) What do the amplifers do and how much do they cost?

The amplifier makes the sub work, it sends it the powered signal.

These will range from $200 - $1500, again, depending on how loud you want it/ how much work you are willing to put in.

Hope that helped. :friends:
