Moti
Nah your setup is decent. Doesn't affect me, but all I would recommend as a fellow computer user, is to overclock the shit out of that e8600. Don't get me wrong, that e8600 is a hell of a OC'r. Any of intel's 45nm parts overclock very nicely, since they run pretty damn cool. An Aaron I've barely said anything on this forum and I was just trying to point out something that I felt was fishy. Moti
Yeah why did you buy a HP in the first place if you wanted to overclock...Lol You should know better . All mainstream manu's have custom bios's so their warranties or terms of agreement aren't voided.
meade916
I have a Intel Quad Core Q6600. 2.40GHz stock.. but can be overclocked to 3.2-3.6 on a good air cooler and 4~ on water.I need a motherboard so I can overclock. HP boards suck. Nice setup, I like nvidia myself. how do you do that? do i need to up the voltage in other spots or something? My Quad core 6700 2.66 only likes to go just about 3.4 before it becomes unstable, and that is ON WATER. Maybe my o/clocking skillz are teh weak Quote All SMD products + MORE available at my store here! https://wccaraudio.com/ Subscribe to My Youtube Channel! Over 1,000,000 subscribers strong! RamenNoodles
I dont really see why you would need to OC that CPU anyways. To be honest, its one of the best CPUs out there right now, why diminish its live by overclocking it. Wait a couple years until there are bigger and better things then start to overclock it so you can keep it that much longer because you will still have the same CPU that is in great condition because you did overclock it when you didnt need to.
