Strange Voltage Drop

mine does the same shit. :( i think its a bad ground for the cluster...... also my speedo is off 20mph

you can cook bacon shirtless if you're not a pussy...lol

not hatin, but am i wrong here it looks as if the amp is not grounded its hooked directly to the battery. it that the way it should be.

Chevys and GMCs are bad for that, my dads diesel does it it says its dropping from 14volts to like 10volts when the turn signals are on, so yah no big deal.

Well damn that sucks! higher or lower?

Mine really didnt start until i had my Hc1400 put in.

higher says im doin 75 when im doin 55

Yea i gotta get me a DMM so i can check. It doesnt drop to 10v but yea it moves. i wanna take a vid of it lol.

I think I showed Chode what it was doing the other night, its pretty funny...

hopes its just the gauge and no for real. gotta get it checked.

i had a nissan truck that when you turned the turn signals on the battery metter would move alot (10v -14v) but it never seemed to really pull much power i think something was going on with the cluster

Vehicle:1998 Jeep Wrangler 4.0 I6 with Cherry Bomb and Cold Air Intake,

Speakers:5 1/4 Pioneers in front and back

Deck: Jensen DVD In-Dash

Amp: Lanzar Opti-Drive 2000w

Subs: 2 Boss Chaos Edtion 1000w max (500wrms)

Rubber: Nitto Grappler 35 x 12.50

Fun Things: Cobra CB with PA speaker to piss people off =]

If the listening level is too loud, then your not deaf enough
