Split9112 Posted October 21, 2008 Report Share Posted October 21, 2008 is this a good amp to use on a 10 fi ssd? wat would be a good one that is cheap that will give me the power i need and more at 1ohm for when i get another one. i am still a noob but around where i live i install a bunch of stuff and fix there stuff when they don't install it right. but i don't know much about wat amps give good wattage and which give bad. so thanks for the help Quote Live Fast Die Fun!!!! Nightshade Posted October 21, 2008 Report Share Posted October 21, 2008 If you're planning on getting another dual 1 ohm woofer then you'll need an amp that produces max power at 1 ohms not two. It you only plan on running one woofer then you would need an amp that produces max power at 2 ohms or even .5 ohms. This amp should be decent for then 10 right now and then when you get another dual 1 it will work even better since the amp will be wired to it's pull potential at 1 ohm mono. reinke Posted October 21, 2008 Report Share Posted October 21, 2008 i use 2 of these amps and i personally love them. the can be wired to .5 but you have to have a good electrical system and say bye bye to your warrenty if you have one. they do run hott as balls. thats the only complaint i have.
