E a r t h Posted October 27, 2008 Report Posted October 27, 2008 What do you mean 4ga runs and a run of 0 for each t2k do you mean eaither or? He means, a run of power and ground in 4 gauge for each T4004 and a run of power and ground in 1/0 for each T 20001bd Quote
Guest Just_Rob Posted October 27, 2008 Report Posted October 27, 2008 Justin, is your Blazer a 4 cylinder of V-6?? Either way you can do 200+ amps and have it be a direct bolt in... If it's a daily driver, make sure as it was mentioned that you buy something that gives you enough output at idle to run the truck and power the system.... Rob Quote
dmanson Posted October 27, 2008 Report Posted October 27, 2008 He means, a run of power and ground in 4 gauge for each T4004 and a run of power and ground in 1/0 for each T 20001bd or he could have meant 2 runs of 1/0 for the T2Ks .... 1 run of 4ga to the T4004s and ground the back batteries and eliminate the extra negative runs. Justin Posted October 27, 2008 Author Report Posted October 27, 2008 OK so im gonna run 2 runs of 0 and 2 runs of 4 form the front bat to the back ones correct? They way I had it befor is I had one charge wire from front to back of the bat and then grounded the batts. Then connect the two +'s and then ran just one + to a spliter then to the amps. So is this going to be the same thing but with more runs? Quote 99 2dr Blazer Kenwood KVT-614 SounDigital SD16k 4 Fi BTL 18s 4 hertz high energy 6.5s comps 4 stock ad244 alts 6 g31s batts 8 runs 0ga
Justin Posted October 27, 2008 Author Report Posted October 27, 2008 (edited) O and it has a 4.3 vortec. Edited October 27, 2008 by Justin Quote 99 2dr Blazer Kenwood KVT-614 SounDigital SD16k 4 Fi BTL 18s 4 hertz high energy 6.5s comps 4 stock ad244 alts 6 g31s batts 8 runs 0ga
pstone11 Posted October 27, 2008 Report Posted October 27, 2008 I also put in there that you can just do three runs of 0 to the back batts, then off the batteries you can run a section of 0 to each t2k, and a section of 4 to each t400.
