Chode69 Posted October 29, 2008 Report Posted October 29, 2008 also how the sub "sits" will play an affect. like a sub facing forward doesnt have gravity pulling down the cone. yet a sub upfiring will have gravity pulling down the cone. that will also change the impedance. if you wanna see how that works hook a subs up to a DMM, set it to ohm and then push on the cone you will see it change. even slight movement will make it the ohms change drastically. a brand new sub you shouldnt see that at all due to a stiff suspension. yet have a loose suspension and it will be change a lil. seen it happen by personal experience.
