ok body looks good but the problem with those 4.9 liter pre-northstart v-8's is they have a non-pressed in cylinders and they r prone to coolant leaks around the o-ring (yes and o-ring) where the cylinder seals to the block which in causes coolant to leak into the oil ... now the only thing that starts this whole down fall of the 4.5-4.9 liter pre-northstar motors is being over heated ... with these motors it only takes one time to warp the cylinders and if it was really boiled the block and heads ... what u can do is check 3 things ... 1. check the oil dipstick for any discolor- milky or light in color other than fresh oil 2. check the oil fill cap for any almost foamy or milky residue left on the under side of the cap and take a flash light an look inside of the valve cover and see if u have any build up of of black coal lookin resdiue also laying on the inside of the valve cover ( excessive build up of is due to lack of oil changes) 3. check the coolant color and look for any discolor other than yellow (this cars required a special coolant additive from gm to help promote o-ring sealing to be added to the coolant and alot of repair shops over looked this ) other than that caddy r good cars but replacement parts arnt cheap and can be quite a headache chasing down electrical problem...other than that good luck an i hope u find a great car that works out for u

the 4.9L is garbage from what i've been told

and with the mileage on that motor not including the mileage inconsistency it might be about to shit itself
