The how to about relays

For those who have used relays. What are the best ones and how did you hook yours up? I have plans use to relays to do a couple of tricks or two and just wanted to know how you used yours.

get one from the parts store. not hard to hook up. signal in, signal out, +12v, ground. i forget which one goes where right now, but you can do a search for it.
