Airborne Posted October 30, 2008 Author Report Share Posted October 30, 2008 I tried that. I set the dns deal to auto detect, I did all kinds of crap and it doesn't work. All of these computers were on the net in the old house, and the wife got with costomer service about hers, but they won't help with the router. Btrash Posted October 30, 2008 Report Share Posted October 30, 2008 make sure all computers are set to automatically obtain IP address. make sure the router is set to DHCP. Unplug the power to the modem and router, wait a few seconds and plug the modem in first, then the router. Do a "ipconfig /renew" on all the computers (go to start->run and type CMD, then type ipconfig /renew) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
