Box Question For 15" Re Sx.

I would like to know if yall think this box would be good for a 15” RE SX. On the RE site it asks for 3.0 @ 35 hz compact or 4.0 @ 34 hz. My box is about 4.5 @ 32 hz. Should I tune it a little higher. I like to listen to about everything except country. I was wanting to know cause this is the box I have laying around. Any input from yall would be great.

i'd say as long as you dont overpower it that box should be fine, with it being tuned lower you will have less of a chance of it mechanically failing especially if you have a subsonic filter.

id make a proper box imo. the oversized boxes always sound a lil boomy to me. I cant tell you what size though because i dont know the amp youll use to power it

T1001bd amp will be powering it. A little over 1300 watts. The box is about a half a cube to big by what the RE site says. Do yall think that is to big? I am planing on later to make a different box but it will be for 2 subs once i get another amp. This is just for now. thanks for any input.

yea i think its to big still. for that amp ida done about 3.75 maybe 3.5 and 32 is alright but i feel SX sound better on like a 33-35 tune

and with the whole "box is to big, don't over power" i think with a smaller port like 32 hz, you should be fine imo, my box is 4ft^3 at 38hz... big box, the rms on my L7 is 1,000 watts, i'm running over 1,500 to it all the time, still haven't had any issues with it

I just want to make sure I don't kill my sub before I get to use both. I know there are a few of yall that have ran RE in the past.
