reinke Posted November 2, 2008 Report Share Posted November 2, 2008 all season i have been trying to get a 140db. i had 4 12's with 2 crunch 1500.1's and only managed a 139.7. i put in one of my new american bass hd dual 2's ran off of a single 1500.1. it is shitting all over my old 12's. i am pretty confident that i am over 140 for sure with this setup. i still have to tune my amp a little better and it is gonna do nothing but get louder. i am stoked to know that i still have to build a proper box. ( i reused a very shitty box built by a local shop here) and add another 15 and amp. i am now after a 146-147. i am not sure if i will get there with my crunch amps but, if everything goes my way i will have much better amps in february. Bout time you are stepping up. I think some better amps would put you through the roof. Also, numbers would be great to know. reinke Posted November 2, 2008 Author Report Share Posted November 2, 2008 its a 2001 f-150. i am slowly working on the electrical. i am gonna do double runs of 0 gauge for power and ground, i have a stock 130 amp alt but inter-linc is gonna get a call for a 200+amp unit in jan. i have 2 new castle deepcycles and will be adding 2 more.
