thacarter546
I have had this amp for a few months now, i know the debate about this amp and m not trying to start an arguement thread I already know how much power it makes. I have a quad 2 ohm TC-3000 and I was wondering if it would be safe to wire this amp at 0.5 an ohm daily. I have a 200 amp alt four runs of 2 gauge welding wire (got it super cheap) and two odyssey pc1200's and a pc680 for electrical. My second question is what size is the fan and is it hard to replace, because mine tends to be very squeaky. It doesnt seem to affect the performance, but is a tad annoying playing at low volumes. thacarter546
what do you mean by that? how long are we talking? im poor, freshman in college and i dont have a job atm. thank you for the replies!
AI James
what i mean is that it will strain the amp alot as its not engineered for that ohm load, and the parts inside will fail prematurely. even if it does work for the time being
thacarter546
shouldnt box rise account for it though? and any chance you have first hand experience with this amp at 0.5 ohm?
