Questions On Eq Install

Recommended Posts

Well I have had this damn Clarion EQ for about 6 months now and have never got around to installing it. Well I bought some knu RCAs so I can finally do it and I just have a few questions about it...

I got this unit used and it didnt come with any instructions so i want to make sure I do this right before I do it.

The Orange circles represent where im not sure where to plug in the RCAs from the amp and the HU.

The Red circle and the aqua circle means I have no idea wtf those two features do so could someone please fill me in.

I take it you only have one output from your h/u. so here goes rca out of headunit to rca "main in" of eq and from your sig your only running a sub amp so you take the "subout" of the eq to your sub amp. the switch on the left sets your sub out xover frequency.set it to 90. aux gain leave it all the way down cuzz your not using it.

I believe the HU actually has 3-4 outputs in the back of it.I want to say 4 RCA output, about 90% positive on that.

And I do plan on running amplifier speakers sometime in the near future, but not currently.

If it helps any, this is the Clarion HU that I have http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/Pr...ProductID=18796
