2x 15"s Or 1x 18"

Ok guys first post here. My name is tony (Im form fgforums). I currently have 4 kicker s8l7s and a sundown saz-1500d. My 8s just arent doing it. So Im wanting to go bigger. If Im still usinf my 1500d wich set up would be better suited for my application. Theyl be going into a custom ported glass enclosure tuned some where in the low 30s. I have a ford escape with a spare tire hide away so I have plenty of room. My options are either two souns splinter rl-p15s or 1 re mx 18. Both setups are right on my price range and rms range for my amp. What do you guys think will be the best settup for a d.d. spl car.

id go with 15s for two reasons

-more cone area

-not many people have those subs

I would go with the 2 15"s

More cone area ( and the optimum enclosure)= more bass (or SQL)

RLP are pretty nice subs, id go with the 18 as the motor was redesigned as well as i like the surround on it alot better

Thanks alot for the comments guys. Im looking for mainly spl here. I heard that the soundsplinters had great sq and of course re is known for spl but how loud will the 2 rl-ps get compared to one re 18? And another hting is Im looking for a sub with an aluminum voice coil. Does any one have any info on the sound splinters internals as they dont have much listed on there web site.
