If anything they suck power to store the energy and discharge so fast you don't even notice the power surge. As long as you have those 2 batts and a good alt, you're good to go. No need for craps. Just having one good battery and another extra battery isn't gonna like 4k+rms daily very much. Get the alt too and you're good to go.
