I have been doing installs for years now but nothing like you guys, and I admit I have LOTS to learn!! First off thanks for any help you guys can provide, I really appreciate it. Oh and I have been doing my research for a bit now, but havent had any luck on this. I have an ext cab 99 Sierra and I plan on doing a blow thru (wanna keep the back seat). I am thinking of doing 2 18's with a box similiar to Kingsuv's truck. I was wondering if anyone has any tips on how to properly cut the walls so they're even. Any any other tips or help that can be provided is cool too. I've seen most of the bt's that have been done on this site, but nothing as far as specifics... Chode, Kingsuv your trucks came out sick!! kingsuv Posted December 2, 2008 Report Posted December 2, 2008 I wouldn't say there is specifics as much as just having a clear idea of how you want to cut it. I stayed an inch away from and over lapping pieces of metal and anything that looked structural. I've been told that you should cut it as big as you can. Be warned. in my truck 18's didn't fit height wise. I had to angle them and it was a bitch to figure out exactly where they would fit. Designing, building, and shipping boxes. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it.

And you have a much taller bed then a chev-dog does.. fid-teens are cherry in a chevy bed. I'd rather have 4 15's of a step down than try to cram 2 baller 18's in that bish.
