Say I Was Buying 1 18" Woofer Should I Go Dc Or Fi?

im soon to buy an 18 idk if i want an Fi btl or a level 5 DC im hoping to have a hifonics golaithxxv a sundown saz-3000d or an orion hcca 5000 give me sum info i know all the specs an what not but i want to hear things u dont know till u own one

starting fresh, chrysler 300.. no subs amp nothin

Should of put that question in the subwoofer section lol. Gonna get it locked cause its on DC and asking if Fi is better! Id take either sub tho!

Look at the power rating of the subs! Your amp draws power! If you one either of those amps you should have enough power for either sub!

I heard Reestblazer's 2 18" LVL 4 with Lvl 5 coils and they got loud. Hard to explain how they sounded. it wasnt bad but for some reason i like the sound of my BTL better.

I have not heard a Lvl 5 yet and probably wont anytime soon but if its comparable to the BTL is up to you.

since this is the DC section and i own DC ..... go DC.

2-DC 15XLM2 D.7s

1-DC 5K amp

(1) XS Power D6500(UNDERHOOD) and (1) XS3000(REAR)

3 runs 1/0ga for power and 2 runs of 1/0ga for negative.

(2)-RFT165s components, ...... 4 separate 1 inch tweetersRF T600-2(fronts) Punch 450.4(rear)

Audiocontrol 3.1.

DC power 260amp alternator w/MLA Module

i tried hooking my xxv goliath to one of my btl's at 1 ohm and it took it like a champ.

but i heard great things about the lvl 5 too, i know someone in the philippines that has a lvl 5 on roughly about 5k watts daily
