i actually just bought a blazer yesturday its a four door but i was planning on doing the exact same thing. theres 38" between the wheel wells and 36" from the back seat to the tailgate so im thinkin once i sell my old jeep thats whats happening. it can definately be done. im planning on doing the subs facing up and the port facing back

if you're going to go as high above the window line as the pic of the trailblazer above...you might aswell just wall it imo. or atleast wall it behind the back seat of seats.

Anyone got pics of any S10 blazers with 2 18s? Im lookin to put 2 Fi SSD 18s in my 2000 blazer, and im tryin to figure out how its gunna look. Its a 4dr so i dont wanna lose my rear seats, cargo area is gunna be filled, i anticipated that. I know i can fit 2 15s, but 2 18s is gunna be a little more tricky, as far as mountin everything and figuring out how to do the box...im thinkin subs up ports back, but its going to be fun building the box since i got the wheel wells in the way, by the wheel wells it can only be 38" wide at the bottom, but i got about 50-53 at the top to work with.

Anyone got pics of their setup or one theyve seen that i could use to get some ideas from?

thanks in advance

if its a 4 door you can keep the back seat it can be done ive seen it the smaller the box the more power you need the bigger the box the less power you need keep that in mind but not to big or to small so keep that in mind

idk how you got 36. i have a 2004 xtreme blazer and i can only get 30 from the back of the seats to the tailgate. you have to remember about the seats. they angle. you might be able to get 36 but thats from the floor to the bottom of the seats not the top.

I've got (2) 15" Havocs in my 4-dr blazer right now, in just under 10 cubes. Subs up port back. 38" wide, 32" deep and just over 17" tall.

Truthfully I would go a little less than 32" deep if I had to do it again, the port is only 5" away from the rear tailgate. There's no way you can fit 36" with port back, the port would be up against the tailgate, blocking lots of airflow.

Unless you build a lot higher than 17", I don't see how it can be done for those 18" SSDs with proper airspace AND room for the amps/batts. Maybe consider 15" SSDs or even Q's instead?

i forgot it was a 4 door thats why its longer. my bad lol.. but it could be done my box was 39wide 20 tall 30deep subs up port up sounded the best to me. amp will fit behind the back seats all the way to the floor. batteries next to the box.

Just finished my classes at acoustic edge yesterday, changed some things around, need to update that thread when i get a chance. Bigger box, new amp for the subs and got a 4ch amp for the doors and some new door speakers, new head unit, changed just about everything.

woman..cant live with em...cant shoot em...guess were all fucked

You might be a Redneck if you use your leftover gutters for a speaker box port...
