Thanks for your time, Mark. yes you can, you need to buy the harness in most cases, and you MUST have a aftermarked headunit that will allow the use of the external controls. Thats about the best answer you can get without more info on your headunit you are running or going to run.
audiofanaticz
The additional info needed is: 2 door or 4 door? Mach audio system? Premium audio system? Stock audio system? Aftermarket radio planned on being used.. The adapters are around $60+ to use the steering wheel controls, and no you cant chop the wires, and make it work without having to spend the money on the harness. You can use this link and it will tell you the needed harness needed since you didnt specify all your info. Some harness will work with pioneer, sony and jensen headunits only, while others will work with Alpines, but like i said before, you need a compatible headunit. http://www.crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/autoinf...tml%3ftp%3d3405 Here are a few harness it maybe, but I cant give you a 100% answer which one you need without the above needed info. http://www.crutchfield.com/S-xS3V53Nn44M/p...PAC-SWI-PS.html http://www.crutchfield.com/p_127SWIX/PAC-SWI-X.html?tp=3405 http://www.crutchfield.com/p_127SWIJACK/PA...=3405&avf=N hope that helps a tad more.
