Airspace Really Required For 18's

is a lot of airspace for 2 18's really necessary? like how muh difference would it make with 2 18's with decent airspace and 2 15's with almost perfect airspace useage etc

8-12 cu ft for both. depending on power/ tuning/ style of box depends on how many cubes.

the space for 18's is required for a reason. otherwise they'd say to put them in a smaller enclosure. imo 15's in a very good box would be a lot better than 18's in a so-so box. the build is 80% of the install.
