a_steezy Posted December 19, 2008 Report Posted December 19, 2008 I'd like to say I was stressing hardcore when my was having issues and i wanted it fixed under warranty I purchased my sub off ubid.com price...? :01nocomment8so: dirt cheap lol so i called blah blah blah and they beat around the bush and the guy said he would be able to send me a check for the cost of the sub. not including the cost of original shipping or the cost of the extended warranty. and he said i would have to ship my sub back to them with my own money... i said fuck that, they can pound sound and i'm screwed and stupid for buying the warranty soooooooooooooooooooooooo... yesturday in the mail came a letter from WaCA Warranty Corporation of America and it said they would send me the check and in bold underlined The defective product need not be returned to us. yaaaaaaaaaaaaaay, signed the paper, faxed it to them and spoke with them. I'm recieving a check in 2-3 weeks for the cost of the sub+warranty and i get to keep the 'defective' product which still works and i am running in my car. I never knew it would work like this and thought i would have to ship the sub back to them '98 Dodge Durango 5.9L 5% front windows, 2.5% on all backs Alpine CDA-9883 Kicker ZX350.4 Kicker KS650's in all doors Kicker 1/0 hyperflex

rusty959 Posted December 19, 2008 Report Posted December 19, 2008 I think he was the one who had vc rubbing problems? push on one part of the sub the rubbing would stop? Probably an issue of overpowering and overheating the voice coil vs a defective product? Not sure if Im right or not, might be though. 2013 Subaru BRZ12" Orion HCCA on AQ 22001967 mustang restoration project: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110765-mustang-restoration-build-2011-edition/ Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/user/therusty959
