LSN2meBoom916
Thnx for the reply. Sadly/thankfully I told the guy I would take his 3G5-12's and 3 radiators... and then he found a higher bidder b4 I could pay him. I didn't "need" them at the time so I was like ok you're a fehg, sell to the other guy and never try to sell me anything ever again. Oh well. I may still run some G2's or G5's at some point. I have only heard 2 G2 10's in a display but I was like and they have good T/S #'s and seem very affordable. But I'm pretty happy with what I got. Check out the G3 line. Its a little higher then the G2 but just below the G5 and like the G5 is field serviceable. I've got a feeling the G5s will be replaced here soon. Best of luck and let me know how it works out.

LSN2meBoom916
Yea I'm kinda a sub nerd so i have pretty much the entire Boston lineup (G1-G5, GTR's, and the spg555s) T/S ##'s in my head. I was about to run boston but decided to go with TC sounds instead. We'll see how that turns out. That truck is pretty siick, I just REALLY wish they'd say what it does on a TL. Forevrbumpn
Yeah, I would say I have pretty good expeience with passives, and if done right, they sound great. They are just a port, think of it like that. The most common, home audio set up is the isobaric compund configuration, it saves alot of airspace, and concentrates on the low end, with minimal stress on the active subwoofer. Think of this, 1cf total airspace 1-12" (internal airspace) .35cf for active sub .65cf for passive Tuned to about 22hz- basically sounds like a 15" with more power, ported, than 1-12" and passive radiator in a compound/radiator enclosure I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.
