jmsonoma03 Posted December 22, 2008 Report Share Posted December 22, 2008 on most cars you will need to remove the visors a pillar plastics - b pillar plastics all the plastics around the rear windows the sunroof should have a rubber trim piece that needs to be removed .bassicly anything else that you see holding it up.its best to have help ive done one in a escallade by my self it was a pain in the a$$. Torres Posted December 29, 2008 Report Share Posted December 29, 2008 i've done mine myself in my explorer. it was kind of a pain, and there was a soft spot where it kept bending, but never really hurt the headliner. i've taken it out probably 3-4 times. gotta take the dome lights out, the a pillars, any other side molding that is attached at the roof. may be a couple clips you need to pop out as well Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
