that's where everyone get's me twisted and things come off wrong, just kinda defending myself

I am not dealing with any warranties with this last failure.

the whole f*uck kicker thing with my amp, they kept sending me the same amp that never worked in the first place, they kept promising a new amp, kept sending me the same one, never worked. they finally sent me a new amp, haven't had a problem with it and love it i was reasonably frustrated and i'm all i wanted was a working amp

then with my sub going out, dont get me wrong, 1,600+ watts on a single 15" L7 in a big boxed tuned to 38hz isn't smart, which is why i purchased a third party warranty and they reimbursed me for the sub going out, which cleared them of any upcoming sub problems, they're done. i knew the sub was struggling and that's my ass for beating the hell outta it

all i can say is that set up for a daily driver was a fail, and i'm plan on starting a new build in the up coming weeks, with alot more thought and smarts involved

Im not gonna go back and read the other posts, but I do recall in almost everyone people telling you that there is something else wrong in your setup, like the sub you seemed to have failed with looking at it.

Maybe its to much for you to comprehend at one time, but maybe kicker did fix your amp all those times, and that speaker kept faulting your amp out, everytime you turned the bass boost up (like is going on now).

Which leads me to believe either A) kicker fixed your amps countless times (sometimes when something goes wrong on your amp it is unseen to the human eye), or there was never really a problem with the amp, so kicker never had to fix it because everytime they tested it, it worked fine.

A blown sub, or even a slightly burned coil will cause an amp to cut out at higher volumes. I guess you just got to learn that just because one piece of gear in your system is failing it doesnt mean that is the problem. There could be something else causing that problem.

1600+ wrms is nothing for a kicker L7, yes its over the speakers rating, but it will take that kinda power as long as it is clean unclipped power. Ive ran 2 older kicker l7s (2005 or 2006) 12s in a prefab box on around 4000watts between the two. Lets say the subs glue joints failed before i had thermal problems with the voice coils.

i had the old amp checked out and bench tested everytime they shipped it back by an authorized kicker dealer in town, they said the amp is shit and they dont understand why they kept sending me the same amp.

since i have had the new amp i have had 0 problems, how the hell does that work? i get one amp that doesn't work everytime i get it, 5 times, i get a new amp and it works flawlessly without changing any wires, simply swapped out the amp?

pull the stick outta your ass and quit saying the same shit about user error

i'm simply going to ask you if you dont wanna help me or deal with my shit, then quit reading my threads asking for help, or simply dont post in them, that simple, resolves alot of stuff

I have read your thread and the others, and am not bashing...

but its getting sickening seeing a failure post from you about kicker ever 4-5 days.

You seem to make post after post about how kicker sucks and everything else. I have not came out and said one time that it is user error, but what is user error is you not going and testing your gear, and then continue to play it making it worse and worse..

Actually Anyone that I have posted on.. Even the noob that fuses his ground wire! PROVE ME WRONG, and convince me that it is right to fuse the ground... ROFL.

Im just noticing this big circle with everyone of your posts and people telling you what to do to eliminate your problems and you still fail to do them, which in return is making the once good gear even worse.

But dont go saying that the kicker cant take 1600 watts, becuase theres tons of people running them, and putting more then that to them without failure. Some thing in your setup is wrong to keep having problem after problem. If it was me, Id rewire my whole car, Id try new RCA cords, pull my power wire out and ground, check it for any breaks and reinstall it with new ends, making sure everything is tight and up to par.
