I bought 2 rockford refurb amps off ebay about a month ago. now my deadline to purchase extended warranty's for the amps is coming up.

Should i get warranty from them?

the t5002 is $23.99 for 1 year and $12 more for a second year.

the t10001 is $31.99 and $16 more for a second year.

All their warranty's cover 100% parts and labor and shipping.

so for about $84 im good for 2 years.

Think this is a good idea? anyone dealt with squaretrade for a warranty claim?

not hatin, but am i wrong here it looks as if the amp is not grounded its hooked directly to the battery. it that the way it should be.

Yeah man. I would say at least get a year. Refurb amps (even factory refurbs) are still slightly more prone to issues.

EDIT: that's assuming they're all good on warranties... I've never dealt with them so can't speak to that.

well i did it for 2 years, figured if i were to send it to rockford it would be an out of warranty repair and then shipping on top of that.
