ran 1/0 from alt to batt(still use stock power wire as well)

found an easy engine to chasy ground

had to prep the chasy ground location.

alt gave me hell getting in. it fits fine but had so many harneses and hoses that did not want to budge...lol

got two of the big three don. tomorrow i'll do the third, 1/0 batt to chasy. i got 2 8' runs of 1/0 that i'll run from the front batt to the inside sence i got the engine cover removed from the inside and don't want to got threw the truble of buttenning it up and takeing it back apart in the future. lol i'll just use cupplers to complete the two runs all the way to the back.

One thing that might be something to watch for- your engine to chassis ground has very little slack in it- the motor is going to move and vibrate and that ground may need a bit more slack. Just keep an eye on it.

yah, i thought about that when i chose that location. while i had the engine cover off, i put the van in gear and gave it some gas while i held the brakes. that ground wire only moves about 1/4". i'll keep an eye on it cause i know over time it will ware on the ring connectors. it was a premade piece that i used on my bank of batts in my car.

got tha alt install and the regulator installed and working. this weekend i'm going to start on the front doors. i'm thinking about slicking them out and painting them with the same textured paint as i did with the rear pods. i'm thinking all the glassed pieces i do should have same look.

what do yall think?

should i do the front doors in gray viynle(spelling), or should i paint them with the same textured paint as i did with the rear pods?

cought hell after i got the regulator wired up. the lights started flickering. did a little reserch on the matter on here. found out that i shouldn't wire the relay off the fuse box but , needed to wire it straight off the batt....works 100% now
