I've never done a build this extensive, it will be my first time with sound deadener, it will be my first time with actual precision sound ports. Here's some of the equipment going in for now. Fusion 4000D @ 2 ohms (2) Death Penalty 12" D2 4 4" Precision Ports 100^2 Fatmat I'm sure there's more stuff, but i'll list it later. Onto some pictures??? So you can see those huge gaps from taking out the back seats. Well I got the BRIGHT idea to fill those with expanding foam and then sound deaden over it (refer to the build log on the dakota for the idea). Well, it is obvious that my hole to fill is MUCH bigger. What your about to see is ~30 dollars worth of foam from the can. It's not even close to filling the first one. Here's the crevice I haven't filled yet. Anyone have any ideas on how to do this without breaking the bank?? Well regardless, sound deadening starts on monday, and the box will start next week as well. Hope you guys enjoy the build.

Maybe i should stuff the thing full of pillows haha. IDEA: Maybe i could just deaden the inside of it the best i can, then spread some of that really thin black fabric over it so it doesn't look so ugly?
Loudcav Posted January 3, 2009 Report Posted January 3, 2009 if you choose concrete I would recomend ripping out the foam that way you can try and equalize the weight as much as possable
