I have a Samsung Slider phone, and its slick as KY Jelly, I was looking at getting a rubber case,

Are they any good ?

I don't care to wear the phone pouch around, I keep my phone in my hands all the time just more comforting,

is that only to keep the phone looking pretty ? i more so drop it, as in needing something to help absorb the shock to prevent breaking anything inside.

they work great. my friend has a iphone 3g with a rubber case. he is a nurse and drops his phone all the damn time. it actually bounces and is perfect.

i dont drop mine very much maybe 2-3 times...but there are zero scratches on my phone

I hated the rubber case that I had on my iPhone. It made pocket retrieval very difficult. I have a hard plastic case on it now. I dunno about shock protection, but it protects it pretty good and getting it in and out of my pocket is still easy as hell

this is the best cover ever i sold this phone but the cover is on there as u could see it makes the phone so much more better and comfy for the hands and fingers
